Bont-goch Lives by R. E. Huws (05-11-2020)

The fascinating story of over 100 men and women who shaped the life of a small community in north Ceredigion whilst others left Ceredigion to make their contribution in other parts of Wales, England, and in a number of foreign countries.

Persons noted include artists, authors, clergymen, craftsmen, farmers, gentry, miners and mining engineers, missionaries, poets, politicians, schoolteachers, soldiers and a selection of rural characters including the odd eccentric.

The author has lived in Bont-goch for nearly twenty years. Prior to his retirement he was Head of Reader & Enquiry Services at the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.
